Image on left exemplifies a greater inclination towards classical motifs on ceiling and walls, luxurious marble floor, rather well- defined columns, and use of gold for door handles and down lights, roman empire ear wall art, and classical furniture. Whereas in the image on the right side, the intricate elements have been toned down and much of the materials are modern including the lights, sofa styling, table, and rug, etc.  Clearly there's more than one way to manifest design!
